The events start this weekend in Grants Pass with an annual tradition—Boatnik 2025. This beloved festival celebrates over 60 years along the Rogue River and takes over Riverside Park with five days of family fun. You’ll find the Davis Shows Carnival, live concerts—including some national touring acts—plus a fireworks show on Friday night. On Saturday morning there is a parade through downtown. There are midway vendors, arts and crafts, and food trucks.
There’s something for everyone, from bingo and children’s activities to the Boatnik Brewfest and a golf shootout. The highlight of the festival is the signature boat races—sprint, drag, and the world-famous Tom Rice Memorial White Water Hydroplane Race. And on Monday, the Memorial Day Service features a moving wreath-laying, a 21-gun salute, bagpipes, and a jet flyover. All proceeds benefit local youth organizations.
